Brunswick Wins Big At PBA Tournament Of Champions

As a leader within the bowling industry, Brunswick Bowling & Billiards had an astounding win over the weekend at the PBA Tournament of Champions in Las Vegas, Nevada. Brunswick Bowler, 29-year-old Sean Rash of Montgomery, Illinois, battled through this prestigious series of matches to be titled Champion.

Rash won the championship with a 239-205 victory over fellow Brunswick Bowler, Ryan Ciminelli of Cheektowaga, N.Y. “This one (tournament) ranks right up there with the most important titles I’ve ever won,” Rash said. “Your first title is always special, and so is your first major, but this tournament is special because everyone who bowls in it is a champion. The other guys in the finals are all great young players.”

With his PBA Tournament of Champions Title, Rash is now vying for the PBA Player of the Year. He unofficially led the PBA Tour in earnings, average and competition points while finishing in the Top 10 in 11 of 14 tournaments.

Sean Rash and Ryan Ciminelli both bowled with newly-released Brunswick Balls throughout the PBA Tournament of Champions.

Rash was throwing the C-(System) Versa-Max when he won the title of the PBA Tournament of Champions. This Brunswick ball has the newest breakthrough in their Chemical Friction Technology. Brunswick has designed the CFT versa-max to have the ultimate coverstock in order to provide enhanced projection down the lane with saving axis rotation for more energy on the backend and through the pins. With its High Gloss Finish, the C-(System) skids effortlessly down the lanes and has the most versatile ball motion from fresh to extremely broken down lane conditions.

Ciminelli, a left-handed player, was throwing the Nexxus ƒ (P+R) throughout the PBA Tournament of Champions. The Nexxus balls were produced using Brunswick’s newest innovation – Adaptive Chemistry. This process blends various performance-enhancing additives to produce any and every ball reaction. The Nexxus ƒ (P+R) describes Brunswick’s latest formula combining (P)rojection and Recovery additives together to create their most aggressive coverstock. This ball also offers the highest hook potential and most continuation of any Brunswick ball to date.

“We are thrilled about Sean’s victory at the Tournament of Champions this past weekend. Sean and Ryan are both dedicated players and it is exciting to see the Brunswick Pro Staff having great success with our new bowling balls. Brunswick has devoted a tremendous amount of effort into our ball technologies over the past year or so, and all that hard work is showing up in outstanding ball performance that provides the winning edge for all levels of bowlers,” says Brian Graham, Director of Sales and Marketing for Brunswick.

Brunswick Bowling & Billiards is named the preferred bowling ball brand at PBA Tour pro-am events. To learn more about the C-(System) Versa Max or Nexxus ƒ (P+R) visit your local pro shop or go to www.BowlwithBrunswick.com
