The BroAdmoor Resort Brings Bowling To Historic Landmark

The BroAdmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, Colo., now offers bowling as one of its many amenities. Opened in 1918, the historic luxury resort offers a number of recreational options including tennis, golf, swimming, hiking and horseback riding – today, six lanes of bowling can be added to that list.

The new bowling lanes, equipped by Brunswick Bowling, are part of The BroAdmoor’s newest dining and late-night destination called PLAY, which offers a “luxury retro” atmosphere where guests can enjoy an 80-seat restaurant, a lounge, a private dining area and family-friendly fun including modern games and traditional activities, such as bowling and shuffleboard.

Located in the lobby level of BroAdmoor West, PLAY gives guests a nostalgic feel created by Johnson David Interiors of Englewood, Colo., who included custom, made-in-the-U.S.A. furniture as part of its attention to comfortable detail.

“The Brunswick Team, without exception was a pleasure to deal with,” said Stephen Bartolin, BroAdmoor president and CEO. “Brunswick’s guidance from out concept phase, design, procurement – through construction, opening and training was invaluable. The information you provided to us during all of these phases made this a very smooth and easy process.”

“Being a part of The BroAdmoor’s new amenity package is very special to us,” said Jason Dean, Brunswick Bowling director of new business development. “The hospitality industry provides a perfect venue for bowling as a family activity, and we couldn’t be more pleased to be the bowling partner for a distinguished resort like The BroAdmoor.”
