Brunswick Bowling & Billiards announced today the completion of an agreement with the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America (BPAA), the bowling industry’s premier trade organization, that will make Brunswick the official sponsor of the lane build for the 2012 Bowling’s U.S. Women’s Open in Reno, Nev. This year will mark the first time the tournament will be played outdoors, and Brunswick will be tasked with building the four-lane finals platform in the middle of Virginia Street, in front of the Reno arch.

Brunswick skilled, authorized installation experts will be working around the clock in order to construct the lane structure in just two days. Before the construction of the lanes can begin, the Brunswick crew will first build a platform to provide a flat foundation for the lanes. Brunswick estimates that it will take 500 man-hours to complete the exclusive four lane project which will feature GS® pinsetters, Pro LaneTM synthetic lanes and Max® crown bowling pins.
