We are pleased to announce the following information regarding a GS-Series Pinsetter component part improvement.
Based on feedback from our customers and distributors, we have added locations for two set screws on the setting table chain gears. Refer to Figure 1. We are also making the metric key that fits between the shaft and the sprocket, available from our service parts inventory. The previous version of setting table chain gears did not have set screws. This resulted in some issues with stress areas between the sprocket, the key, and the shaft.
The new style of setting table chain gears went into production pinsetters beginning with series 687. The new part number for the setting table chain gear with set screws is 47-075474-009. Additionally, the part number for the newly available metric key is 11-053503-000.
NOTE: All existing inventory of the old part number, 47-075474-004, has been made obsolete and the new number, 47-075474-009, should be referenced when ordering this part.
The new setting table chain gear with set screws is usable in all models of GS-Series pinsetters.
