Replace Clutch Reset Lever
Quick replacement of the clutch reset lever and eliminate the need for a hammer and punch to remove the roll pin (Figure 1).
Start with a spare clutch reset lever and shaft. Mount the clutch reset lever in a vise and increase the size of the roll pin hole using a sharp 3/16” drill bit. DO NOT DRILL A HOLE THROUGH THE SHAFT. Safety glasses should be worn during this procedure.
After drilling the hole, file out the inside of the lever until the shaft slides through the lever without binding.
Reinstall clutch lever and shaft on the pinsetter. Insert Extra Long Pin (Quality Part # 8-191) and 11-625538-000 O-ring in place of the roll pin, as show in Figure 2. Now the clutch reset lever is ready for quick installation.
